DARE magazine – Australian Seniors Customer Offer (“Promotion”)

Terms and Conditions

  1. DARE magazine offer available from 15 April 2020 for a limited time (“Promotional Period”).
  2. The Promoter is Greenstone Financial Services Pty Ltd (“GFS”) of 50 Norwest Boulevard, Norwest NSW 2153 ABN 53 128 692 884, AFSL 343079 (“Promoter”). Australian Seniors Insurance Agency (Australian Seniors) is a trading name of GFS.
  3. In order to be eligible, Australian Seniors customers who took out a Policy before 15 April 2020 must meet the following criteria:
    1. a Seniors Funeral, Health, Car, Home, Contents, Landlords, and/or Pet Insurance Policy must be active without lapsing at the commencement of the Promotional Period, and it must remain active without lapsing on the date the Policy data is extracted for the next issue of the magazine; and
    2. the mailing address on the customer’s Policy must be within Australia; and
    3. the customer has not previously opted out of this offer.
  4. In order to be eligible, Australian Seniors customers who took out a Policy after 15 April 2020 must meet the following criteria:
    1. a Seniors Life, Funeral, Health, Car, Home, Contents, Landlords, Travel, and/or Pet Insurance Policy must be purchased during the Promotional Period and the Policy must be active without lapsing on the date the Policy data is extracted for the next issue of the magazine; and
    2. the mailing address on the customer’s Policy must be within Australia; and
    3. the customer has not previously opted out of this offer.
  5. The offer is:
    1. Current and new Seniors Life, Funeral and/or Health Insurance Policy holders will receive the current printed copy and future printed copies of the bi-monthly DARE magazine free of charge while their policy remains active without lapsing. Paid subscribers of the DARE magazine who take out a Seniors Life, Funeral and/or Health Insurance Policy during the Promotion will have their paid subscription cancelled and refunded for any future issues they have pre-paid.
    2. New Seniors Car, Home, Contents, Landlords, and/or Pet Insurance Policy holders who take out a policy on or after 19 February 2024 will receive the current digital copy and future digital copies of the bi-monthly DARE magazine free of charge while their policy remains active without lapsing.
    3. Current and new Seniors Travel Insurance Policy holders will receive one (1) digital copy of the next issue of the DARE magazine free of charge.
  6. Limit of one (1) copy of each issue of DARE magazine per insurance Policy owner (“Recipient”).
  7. Offer is non-transferable or exchangeable.
  8. Offer is not redeemable for cash.
  9. For Recipients of a printed issue of DARE magazine, the name and address of the Recipient will be supplied to Ovato for the purposes of fulfilling printed issues of the DARE magazine to the address on the policy.
  10. The Promoter has the right, at its absolute discretion, to change or delay the publication date, postal submission date and/or delivery date of the DARE magazine.
  11. Information on how to obtain the offer in the Promotion forms part of these Terms and Conditions. Customers who take up the offer are taken to have agreed to these Terms and Conditions. If a person does not agree to receive the offer, he or she is required to expressly inform the Promoter and will be disqualified from this offer.
  12. If a Recipient’s receipt of the DARE magazine incurs a tax liability, the Recipient is liable for payment of such tax.
  13. The Promoter and its associated agencies are not liable for any loss, damage, personal injury or death whatsoever (including, but not limited to, any direct, indirect or consequential loss) suffered or sustained in connection with this Promotion, the use of a reward or any act or omission (whether negligent or not) of the Promoter, its associated agencies or any person associated with any of them, except to the extent that any liability cannot be excluded by law.
  14. All personal information disclosed in the course of this Promotion is captured and treated in accordance with Australian Seniors’ Privacy Policy (“the Policy”). By accepting the offer in the Promotion, you consent to us using and disclosing your personal information in accordance with the Policy and as set out in these Terms and Conditions.
  15. If this Promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion and to the fullest extent permitted by law to:
    1. disqualify any claimant; or
    2. modify, suspend, terminate, or cancel the Promotion, as appropriate.
  16. The Promoter has the right, at its absolute discretion, to refuse to accept, or to vary, or to discontinue, this offer without notice.
